100% agree, and I'm honestly not exactly sure what obligates people in non-English speaking countries to learn English in the first place and whether it's beneficial enough for them to spend thousands of hours to master it. Maybe Japanese people should start learning Spanish instead. It's phonetically easier, and Google Translate can probably translate English text pretty accurately.
